6/15/10 – Pupdate

Tired Mama

I haven’t seen the puppies or Roxie since the 6 so I am really going through withdrawls! I won’t get back up there again until this weekend. Tate was able to go see them last week so there ARE some new pictures!

So the latest update on the puppies as of today… they are starting to wean from Mom and are eating mushy puppy food and really liking it! After they fill their bellies, Mom cleans them up and if she doesn’t get all the nooks and crannies, not to worry, a sibling will get it! Even if it means getting a spot that doesn’t need to be gotten… like in each other’s MOUTH!

They are all doing well and are healthy, noisey puppies. Roxie is having to split time between six and six as they are getting too big to feed at once.

I have high hopes to bring Roxie home this weekend, but she will have to go back every few days so she can feed to clear out her milk while her body re-absorbs the excess.

We are looking at doing conformation and bird evaluation at 7 weeks old here in Sacramento. If you are interested in coming to see the puppies please let me know.

I have communicated with Liz about this so I can sit with heart in mouth to see how Miss Lavender Blue does……These are great pictures…really good! Thank you!!!!!!
