Last weekend a bunch of we and a bunch of friends caravaned up to Boomtown, Reno to check out the new Cabela\’s store. We spent several hours in there checking things out, trying on stuff and buying Christmas gifts. It\’s an amazing store and we could easily have spent a couple more hours in there playing in their interactive adventures. We plan on going back after Christmas for the sales to buy me some hunting gear.

We brought Roxie and Corinne & Holger brought their dog Annie so that we could stop and play in the snow on the way back. This was Roxie\’s first time in the snow so I was excited to see how she would react. She absolutely LOVED IT! She was boucning around in the snow, biting it and running as fast as she could. Annie is an older dog and wasn\’t too sure about the energy level ofthis puppy. After a while she \”warmed up\” and started to play with Roxie. The chased and played and had a good time. At one point, Annie the thick coated Chow Chow got hot and decided to cool herself off in the snow. This was an oppertune time for Roxie to take action and spring herself on her.

It was so much fun. I wish we could have stayed longer but it had been a long day, we were losing light and it was getting colder by the minute. I\’m looking forward to taking her again someday.
