Valentine\’s Day was created for a purpose… granted, no one ever remembers what that is other than it becoming a \”Hallmark\” holiday. Yes, you should show your love EVERYDAY not just on one day. But the fact is, we go about our days and do the usual stuff, say I love you, kiss before bed etc… but those are things that happen all the time and we tend take it for granted. When was the last time you received or sent someone flowers or went out to an extra nice dinner?

To me, Valentine\’s Day is a day for us to remember to show those we love that we care and that we don\’t take them for granted. Send your wife flowers, give your hubby something special, call up your best friend and say \”Hey, thanks for always being there for me\”. You don\’t have to buy anyone a card from \”Hallmark\”, write them a note and stick it in the mail, send an e-card. Or just call them. Do something \”special\” to show them you care. If we don\’t set aside time to do it, it may never get done.

It\’s kinda like birthdays, some people don\’t believe in celebrating birthdays because you should celebrate your life EVERYDAY…. the fact is, you don\’t. Everyone deserves a special day.
